Per Governor DeSantis, Brevard Eye Center will resume surgery May 12th. We will also re-open our clinic for all eye care needs.

During the past few difficult weeks, we have taken the time to re-evaluate our daily operations and train our staff for a safer and more streamlined patient experience. We are continuing to screen patients before entering the building, monitoring employee health, sanitizing rooms between patients, and following CDC guidelines.

We require masks on all individuals in the building and are taking temperature readings on all staff.

Your vision is paramount and our patients with sight threatening medical conditions such as glaucoma, macular degeneration, diabetic eye diseases, and infections or our patients who have had operative procedures in the past 90-days are our number one concern during this time of ever-changing recommendations and guidelines by the CDC and American Academy of Ophthalmology.

If you have a medical condition or are experiencing an on-set of decreased vision, Brevard Eye Center will continue to be available for you and will be contacting you individually to give you a new date, time, and location for your appointment as they may have changed due to the offices limited hours during the Coronavirus pandemic. We deeply apologize to all of our patients who are scheduled or need to schedule routine exams for an updated glasses prescriptions or contact lens prescriptions. The CDC and American Academy of Ophthalmology states non-urgent medical care should be postponed until otherwise notified. Currently we are scheduling these appointments in mid April.

If you have an on-set of decreased vision or an eye infection, please contact our office immediately to be scheduled in one of our emergency appointment slots. Your vision is our only priority at this time.
