
WelcomeBrevard Eye Center is pleased to welcome Carrie L. Morris M.D. to our team of eye care professionals. Dr. Morris will be joining the practice on October 1, 2010 and will be performing cosmetic and reconstructive oculofacial procedures including eyelid rejuvenation, endoscopic brow lifting, midface contouring, Botox and Restylane, skin cancer reconstruction, scar revisions, strabismus surgery and much more.
Dr. Morris graduated summa cum laude with Honors from the University of South Alabama in 1999. She received her medical degree in 2003 from the University of Alabama in Birmingham where she graduated at the top of her class. In 2007, she completed her ophthalmology residency at Duke University Medical Center. She was awarded the Duke Ocular Innovation Award for her research involving eyelash enhancement. In 2009, she successfully completed a two-year American Society of Ophthalmic Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery fellowship affiliated with the University of Tennessee-Memphis and Vanderbilt University. She is a member of the American Society of Ophthalmic Plastic Reconstructive Surgery as well as an associate member of the American Academy of Cosmetic Surgery. She is currently an assistant professor of Ophthalmology at Washington University in St. Louis School of Medicine. Dr. Morris is a Board Certified Ophthalmologist and a member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology, Women in Ophthalmology, American Medical Women’s Association, and the AMA. She is a reviewer for the Journal of the American Association for Pediatric Ophthalmology and Strabismus. We are now accepting appointments beginning October 1, 2010.
