Brevard Eye Center welcomes Daniel J. Lutz, M.D. to our team of eye care professionals. Dr. Lutz is Brevard’s newest fellowship-trained Glaucoma Specialist. Dr. Lutz received his medical degree from UMDNJ – Robert Wood Johnson Medical School in Piscataway, New Jersey. He went on for his residency with the Affiliated Eye Residency Program in Newark, New Jersey and completed his fellowship training at the Indiana University School of Medicine, a leader in the latest advances in Glaucoma treatment and management.

 

Some of the procedures that Dr. Lutz performs are: Trabeculectomy, with or without Ex-press Shunt, AHMED Glaucoma Tube Shunt Implants, Baerveldt Glaucoma Tube Shunt Implants, Clear Cornea Stitchless Cataract Surgery, ALT, Cyclocryotherapy, Canaloplasty, Non-penetrating Deep Sclerectomy, Eye Trauma Procedures as well as offering Comprehensive Eye care and Second Opinions.

 

In his spare time, Dr. Lutz enjoys classical piano, astronomy, reading science fiction, and aviation.
