Dr. Quirie was born in Tiffin, Ohio. She relocated to Cape Coral, Florida In 1982. She attended Edison Community College on a full honor scholarship. After receiving her Associate of Arts degree she furthered her education at the University of Florida. While there she completed her Bachelor of Science in Chemistry along with a minor in Education. She earned her Doctor of Optometry degree from Nova Southeastern University in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. She had further training from The Ohio State University at a Residency Program associated with the VA Medical Centers in Columbus and Chillicothe, Ohio. She has returned to Florida to join the staff of the Brevard Eye Center.
